Early English Settlements in North America -- After learning about Spanish explorers like Christopher Columbus and Hernando Cortes, we are now taking a look at how the country of England explored and began colonizing the New World.  During this unit, we'll learn about the Lost Colony of Roanoke, the Pilgrims, and Jamestown.
