Reported by Ethan #9
Today started out to be
a good morning. I rode
my new Schwinn bike that I got for Christmas.
When I got to school I played basketball like I always do
before the bell rings.
When the bell rang, we lined up in front of Room #34 like we
normally do to wait for class to start.
Mr. Coley came around the corner to let us in.
We all went straight to our desks and dropped our backpacks
off.
Next, in P. E. we ran a
mile. Jeremy came in
first and I came in second.
Then when our whole class was done running we went to class.
Mr. Coley told us to get our math, our Lion the Witch and the
Wardrobe skills packet, and our spelling crossword puzzle. Then he
told us to put our skills packet away and our math.
After that we checked our
spelling crossword puzzle and we did our writing about Billy the
main character from ‘Where the Red Fern Grows’.
Next, we corrected our
skills packet for the book we are reading. My book title was The
Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. It was very interesting, and I
enjoyed it very much.
Then it was time for recess.
At recess I played basketball with my friends.
After recess we went to
class and picked up our math books and left.
In math we took a test.
My math teacher, Mrs. Becker, told us when we finished with
the test to bring it up to her and read uor books silently until
everyone was done. Then 30 minutes later we got our graded math test
and left to class for lunch.
I got an A- on my test.
Woo hoo!
Instead of Social
Studies we read a story called ‘Vanishing Creatures’. The story is
about a girl named Caitlin and a boy named Joe Daniel whose animals
go missing from the school exhibit.
Lastly we reviewed what
we did in Lesson 2 and then we wrote some more paragraphs about
clouds. Finally it was
time to read silently for the rest of the class until the bell rang.
